There has been no systematic testing of anything like this. You have gone way beyond the science and are off-base.<br /><br />Remember, if any one religion is correct it is likely that all others are not, so any testing of this must test <i>all</i> religious groups against each other/atheists to see if any one of them is benefiting.<br /><br /><i>The total disengagement of prayer from reason should be enough to show us that prayer is futile</i><br /><br />This is a meaningless statement. Whatever you're trying to say here 'disengagement' is not the correct word. Regardless, there is reason for prayer to work if a God exists, there is not if a God does not, to suggest that it is possible to reason whether prayer will work is simply begging the question.<br /><br />Also, popular sayings prove nothing, except that people say a lot of stuff.Aranoreply@blogger.com
